Auto Shanghai 2027 will unveil its grandeur in April, Shanghai
The 22nd Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as "Auto Shanghai 2027") will be held from April 25 to May 2, 2027 at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Auto Shanghai 2027 will continue to build a powerful magnetic field and world-class arena for global premieres and debuts, give full play to its platform function as a "super hub" for the global automotive industry, and comprehensively showcase the vibrant growth and enormous potential of the world’s automotive industry.
Auto Shanghai 2027 is estimated to cover a total exhibition area of 380,000m². According to schedule, April 23 and April 24 are press days open to media only; April 25 and April 26 are trade days; and April 27 to May 2 are public days.
Looking back, Auto Shanghai has achieved remarkable success that is universally recognized. As an innovation incubator for the global automotive industry, Auto Shanghai 2025 covered a total exhibition area of more than 360,000m², with 1,366 vehicles on display including 163 world premieres. Major automakers held a total of 193 press conferences. We successfully achieved the conversion from "exhibits" to "products" and then to "industrial investment," creating unique opportunities for market expansion, investment and growth. Meanwhile, as a demonstration ground for promoting automotive consumption, Auto Shanghai 2025 received over 14,000 domestic and international journalists and media professionals, in addition to a total of 1.01 million visitors, including 63,000 overseas visitors from 97 countries and regions. The show innovatively practiced the crossover integration of "culture, commerce, tourism, sports, and exhibitions," effectively built a closed-loop where "exhibition visits" helped activate "brick-and-mortar sales", which in turn empowered "economic growth", and set a new benchmark for superscale exhibitions in the era of mass consumption.
